Laurel Class

In Laurel Class Miss Johnson teaches Monday - Wednesday and then Mrs Palmer teaches on Thursdays and Fridays. Mrs Kingsley, Mrs Norman and Mrs Booty help with everyone's learning. We have different areas in our classroom to explore lots of things and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn in a way that suits them; creative projects, an investigation station, a reading corner, outside area and lots, lots more.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions about what we do in Laurel Class and Year 2!

Mrs Palmer

Hello, I'm Mrs Palmer and I am really looking forward to being your teacher in Laurel Class. I live with my husband, our two young children, and our pets, Hugo the dog, and Rocket and Basil, our tortoises. I enjoy tap dancing, going to the theatre, baking and doing craft.

I look forward to helping you continue to do your brilliant learning, we'll have a fantastic year together!

Miss Johnson

Hi Everyone, welcome to Year 2! Here is a little bit of information about me...

I have two children; Reuben who’s 6 and in Year 2 like you and Olivia who’s 3. I love being on the beach and swimming in the sea, I play lots of netball and absolutely love reading. 2 of my favourite things are Pokemon and dinosaurs! I can’t wait to find out all about you and your favourite things!

Mrs Norman

Hi Year 2, my name is Mrs Norman. I have worked at Colman Infant School for almost 30 years in a variety of roles.

I love to spend time with my family including my three grandchildren. I enjoy going on holiday, spending time at my caravan and walking on the beach. Being beside the sea is my happy place. See you all in September.

Mrs Booty

Hello my name is Mrs Booty. I'm married and have three children - Alfie, Joseph and Sienna. When I'm not at School I like to run and watch my children play football. I’m really looking forward to meeting everybody in September and learning all about you.

Sycamore Class

Mr Cook teaches Sycamore class. Mrs Bawler and Mrs Forde help everyone to learn.

All the teachers are busy planning and sorting out the year 2 classrooms for September. We have different areas in our classroom to explore, such as topic corner, a chill out book zone, making and creating station and even an outdoor investigation area.

We are really looking forward to September and can’t wait to meet you all.

Mr Cook

I love tennis, music, and sunset walks. At school, my favourite subjects are English, Science and PE. I am very excited to start a fantastic year with you all full of learning and fun!

P.S. I didn't catch the fish in my picture, I found it at the museum in Norwich Castle!!

Mrs Bawler

Likes: Westie dogs (I have 2!) baking, reading and going on holiday. I like staying up late at night too.

Funny fact about me: I have never ever broken a bone in my body!

Most looking forward to in Year 2: Being in Sycamore class with all of you and learning more about toys because that's part of one of our topics this year.
