Well done for a great start to Year 5.  We have got a fantastic year planned for you and we are really looking forward to working with you.

Our first topic will be ‘Stones and Bones’, learning all about Stone Age and Iron Age Britain. The Stone Age began an amazing 2.6 million years ago! We will look at what life was like then and how we know.

Here are some links if you want to do some of your own research:

Later in the year we will be learning about Earth and Space and finally about South America, rivers and rainforests. We are going to have a great year!

If you have any worries or concerns at all, please do get in touch with us. We can’t wait to see you all.
