On Wednesday 20th April 2022, Colman Junior School had a whole school art day.
In the morning, we had a draw along with a local artist, made giant art attack pictures with the help of a drone and we created a feather for a whole school project making ‘Wings of Creativity’.
In the afternoon, we created art using two different mediums including clay, spray paint, ink printing and lots more. The teachers talked us through different techniques we could use for our pieces and we could choose the style or subject for our art ourselves. The teachers then put our art into a gallery in the hall where we could view it and write comments about each other’s work. We could also have a photo with our wings!
We all had a brilliant, arty day!
Comments from children:
